0549, God Rules But Man Chooses
God rules—but He does not force.
In this powerful Bible study, W. D. Frazee explores two truths that may seem difficult to reconcile: God is the sovereign Ruler of the universe, and yet human beings are free to choose whether they will surrender to Him.
Beginning with the remarkable story of Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4, Frazee traces how the proud king of Babylon was brought to recognize that “the Most High ruleth in the kingdom of men.” Yet the same all-powerful God is pictured in Revelation 3:20 standing at the door of the human heart and knocking—waiting for us to open.
How can an omnipotent God allow Himself to be resisted? Can our choices actually limit what God desires to accomplish in and through us? And what becomes possible when the human will is fully surrendered to the will of God?
This message is an invitation to stop resisting, open the door, and allow the King of heaven to accomplish His purpose in our lives.
